Literacy covers a broad spectrum of learning...it is more than just learning the alphabet letters or reading a book; it is learning how to read and learning to LOVE reading all at the same time. At the preschool level we are learning that words are made up of letters, and letters all have individual sounds. Learning about literacy is a magical journey that children get swept away in.
